One of the most underrated YET indispensable new skills (especially if you want to be a ladies’ man) you learn beyond kindergarten is you learn how to spot great eating date spots because God forbid, you don’t want the same old Jollibee food day in and day out. If not to widen your cultural or gastronomical horizons, Jollibee or Binalot is certainly no way to impress your date.

About to take the plunge

 

After disappearing off the face of the earth (much to the horror of my editor who’s been nagging me for this nugget), I can honestly say that it pays to grab time by the balls and take a respite from the usual city doldrums and office stress shenanigans and take a vacation. If not an extended vacation (who can afford one with today’s gas and rice prices?), at least a break. If not now (especially in this stiflingly glorious sunny weather), when else ??
