Posted under Real Life Fiction, The Big Kahuna (Author) by The Big Kahuna on August 12, 2008 12:00 pm

In the modern day professional landscape of urban offices and call centers, one of the most common events next to high cost parking and street lunch food is office romance.

Posted under Prof. Ivo (Author), Real Life Fiction by Atticus Finch on August 8, 2008 2:24 pm

On this day, I remember with fondness and thankfulness those people- children and comrade in arms, who used to form my days of priorities.

Nugget Twelve: ON-LINE AUCTIONS

Posted under Atticus Finch (Author), Real Life Fiction by Atticus Finch on August 6, 2008 1:20 pm

This February 2005 AMP Girls Uno magazine I bought at 150 pesos and sold for 800 pesos.

Closet bursting with clothes?

Too old for your childhood toys? Comic books and magazines gathering dust?

Too much stuff for your own good?

Nugget Eleven: NUTELLA

Posted under Atticus Finch (Author), Real Life Fiction by Atticus Finch on August 4, 2008 12:35 pm

NUTELLA is a hazelnut spread (read: NOT peanut butter) worthy enough of the Ludy’s tasty peanut butter legend of yore. If anything to describe this late but wondrous discovery of mine, it is MAX BRENNER in a jar.

It’s THAT good.

Nugget Ten: SAMSUNG D880 DUOS

(Before you read any further, this article is a user review from a layman user perspective; so there are no technical specification references or techie name/term dropping. You may google many other sites for tech specs. Thanks to GSM Arena for some of the pix.)

In today’s times when having two mobile phones is insanely affordable (more so for sim cards as they go cheaper by the month), the Samsung D880 Duos caters to satisfy that part of the market that keeps their professional and personal sim lives distinctly separate but without the clunky extra burden or cost of buying another phone for that other sim, (unless of course for other nefarious illicit matters).

Do you see dead people? Or ladies in the water? Or hydrophobic aliens in the bushes? Or those who we do not speak of in the woods?

Well neither does M. Night Shyamalan but he does tell the most intriguingly twisted stories about them.

THE LAST LAUGH

Posted under Atticus Finch (Author), Real Life Fiction by Atticus Finch on July 23, 2008 9:09 am

For those of you who have not joined the throngs of comic book fans, grimacing parents of excited children, and curious onlookers who have seen the hit freak show “The Dark Knight” starring Christian Bale as Batman and the late (now) great Heath Ledger as the Joker you must be crazy waiting THIS long not watching a film THIS good.

FEARFUL FACE-OFFS

Posted under Prof. Ivo (Author), Real Life Fiction by Prof. Ivo on June 22, 2008 9:38 pm

Typically, guys like fights when they’re at a Ginebra game, or watching reality TV. But guys don’t particularly like fights when they happen in relationships.

We shy away from confrontation for several reasons: first, men win arguments with women about as often as the UP Maroons win the UAAP championship.

WAITING TO EXHALE

Posted under Prof. Ivo (Author), Real Life Fiction by Prof. Ivo on June 1, 2008 9:13 am

This is my dream life: snazzy SUV, house in Ayala Alabang, Jollibee franchise, house in Italy, resort in Palawan, beach front property in Bora, stocks in Meralco.

The works.
